Everton striker Sandro Ramirez says he feels perfectly at home at Goodison Park, even when it rains!
The Spaniard bagged his first Everton goal in the pre-season draw with Sevilla this afternoon and says it felt good get off the mark before the season starts.
“I am really happy to score in front of all the Everton fans here at Goodison, it is a great feeling for me,” said Sandro.
“It is always good to get off the mark quickly when you join a new club but the feeling I have here already is that I am an Everton player and I feel at home here – even in the rain!
“My father said to me that if I get the chance to play in the Premier League I must take it because I have the characteristics to play well in this league. I believe this, too.
“Pre-season has gone well, we have advanced to the play-off round to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League and we are all ready for the challenge we face in the Premier League this season. As a team, as a squad, we feel good.”
