No, it’s not some bizarre advertising attempt – although it could lead to his agent contacting the cellphone giants – but rather a Facebook post in which the Carphone Warehouse declares their belief that Davy Klaassen will be a class act for Everton.
The former Ajax captain has struggled to impress many Evertonians since signing in the summer for around £24m, but those responsible for the Carphone Warehouse Facebook page this evening have put their trust in the 24 year old.
Speaking to an Everton fan about the Blues’ season so far, Carphone Warehouse admit that the jury is still very much out on Sandro Ramirez, but that they too have been impressed by Dominic Calvert Lewin’s start to the season.
The exceedingly knowledgable commentator from Carphone Warehouse said, “We believe Klaassen, as his name suggests will turn out to be a class acquisition.
“The jury is still out on Sandro, but we agree with the rise of DCL and hope he adds to his impressive goal vs Ružomberok.”
