Everton boss Ronald Koeman says that Yannick Bolasie is much further from a return to fitness than his recent social media posts suggest.
Bolasie had posted a video of himself practising his silky skills, but Koeman said that the former Palace man will needs at least another month before joining in with training with the first team.
The 28 year old was said to be out of action until at least November after an injury last season.
“He’s further away than the clips are showing,” laughed Koeman.
“He’s doing well, it’s a long period for the boy and he’s working hard to come back as soon as possible.
“What he did, it’s not football. You need to be stronger and you need to be ready to be combative for the Premier League.
“It’s maybe four or five weeks before he’s ready for first team training.”
