Everton have sacked Ronald Koeman after just 58 games, making the Dutchman Everton’s second shortest serving manager.
As Koeman leaves, Everton lie in 18th in the Premier League and all-but out of the Europa League, but with a crucial Fourth Round tie in the League Cup against Chelsea to prepare for.
Sky Sports claim that David Unsworth has been put in temporary charge until a replacement for Koeman is found, with Carlo Ancelotti being among the fan’s favourites to take over – although it must be remembered he is coming to the end of his career.
A record of 24 wins, 14 draws and 20 losses may not sound as bad as the man who survived even less time in charge, but this is 2017 and expectations at Everton are high.
Who would you fancy as the next Everton boss?
