Everton boss Ronald Koeman says that he was happy with the reaction from supporters at the final whistle following the 2-1 home defeat to Lyon last night.
Many stayed to applaud the players’ second half efforts, but large numbers had left the stadium with a lot of comments regarding Koeman’s future at Everton.
“It’s about winning,” he said.
“I think I was happy about the reaction of the fans after the game because they support the players.
“The players did everything to win the game and that was nice to see.
“OK, if they are against the manager that’s about losing and not winning and that’s normal.
“Everybody is a little bit worried about the situation but that is normal.
