Sky Sports News are reporting that Everton are in talks with Sam Allardyce with a view to making him the new manager of the Blues.
The news channel, who also conveniently enough own a betting firm, say that Allardyce is back in the frame after Everton failed to land Marco Silva.
It is also wondered if the potential appointment would be a message from the board at Everton saying that they know that the club are in a relegation fight.
However, Allardyce distanced himself from the job two weeks ago, but now it appears that he is back in the frame.
