Sean Dyche said to be preferred choice for the Manager role.
Sources close to the club have told us that David Unsworth has been informed that he is not to be the Everton Manager long term and that Sean Dyche is to be the man to take over at Everton.
The Everton board are understood to be as determined to land Dyche as manager as they were in their pursuit of Ronald Koeman 18 months ago.
Yesterday, Dyche denied any contact from Everton, despite Sky Sports reporting earlier in the day that the Blues would be making the Burnley boss their number one target.
The stories regarding Sam Allardyce are said to be wider from the mark than his waistband after Christmas dinner.
