Everton boss Marco Silva says his side simply weren’t good enough to win against West Ham today despite creating more chances than their opponents.
West Ham ran out 3-1 winners at Goodison Park but Silva says that if his side had been more clinical in front of goal then the result would have been much different.
Silva said that his side must learn from these mistakes quickly.
“We weren’t good enough to win the match, that’s clear to me,” he said.
“If you want to look at just the clean chances then they had 3 or 4 and scored three goals, we had maybe four or five and scored just one.
“Even without a good performance, because we made some mistakes, but we had the chances to take the result.
“We created a good number of chances and it’s a big lesson for us to learn, and learn fast.
“This is the Premier League and it’s all about how you finish but of course you need to improve every day.”
