Everton have moved to distance themselves from rumours that they were about to offer a trial to former Arsenal and Manchester City man Samir Nasri.
The disgraced former French international is able to train with a football club again next month when his anti-doping ban expires, but the Echo reports that Everton have said there “no interest” in bringing him to Goodison Park.
The 31 year old won the Premier League with Manchester City twice but simply does not fit into the mould of the type of player that Marco Silva and Marcel Brands want to bring to the club.
