Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has been subject to a late loan bid from Belgian side Anderlecht as he looks to reboot his career.
Signing from Crystal Palace in a big money move, Bolasie suffered an unfortunate injury in December 2016 and has failed to regain anywhere near his pre-injury form.
Enduring a torrid loan at Aston Villa for the first half of the season, the 29 year old will be desperate to prove himself, or at least should be, with some Villa fans claiming he never offered them enough during his time there.
Bolasie had the potential to be the marquee signing that Evertonians were hoping for when he arrived in August 2016, but since his injury he has never lit up the back pages and has left many Everton fans wondering what it will take to get him off the wage bill.
One Belgian reporter states that when Bolasie was living next door to former Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian forward said good things about one of his former clubs.
