Everton forward Theo Walcott has once again come under fire from Evertnoians following yet another poor performance from the former Arsenal man.
Walcott, who signed along with Turkish centre forward Cenk Tosun under Sam Allardyce – in moves the former Bolton manager claimed improved our attacking play – has shown this season why Arsenal were so prepared to let him go.
A succession of stray passes, coupled with a seeming unwillingness to help out his full back, have angered Everton fans once again as the Blues lost to Leicester at home, prompting some fans to compare Marco Silva with Allardyce.
Michael Keane made a defensive slip that let Jamie Vardy get his annual goal at Goodison Park, but it is Walcott who has felt the wrath of Everton fans on social media this evening.
After we put out a tweet asking fans to “discuss” the former England forward, and some of the replies ranged from “get rid” to slightly more detailed explanations about his performances.
