It has been revealed to NSNO that Andre Gomes is ready to settle on Merseyside, leading us to the conclusion that he could be about to sign a permanent deal with Everton.
The former Barcelona midfielder signed on loan with the Blues last summer and has been very impressive at times at the heart of the Everton midfield.
In his first handful of matches when he returned from injury, he earned high praised from Evertonians – and not just for his devilish good looks, which did lead to Everton utilising the Portuguese to host a “hug-a-thon” in a fundraising effort for Everton in the Community.
Like many overseas players adjusting to life in the Premier League, it hasn’t always been easy for Gomes to take control of matches, but he has always shown an eye for a pass and a calmness that has been sorely needed at Everton.
If he is indeed looking to buy a property to live in on Merseyside, then he could be one of the most important signings of the summer for Marco Silva.
