Star players for Everton across the recent 2018/19 Premier League season

It was a fairly promising first season under manager Marco Silva, with the team now playing some of the most attractive football in the Premier league.

It certainly is a positive sign moving forward and Everton will now be expected to step forward and secure European football next season. Punters believe they will as they have proved a popular selection to do so with them using the Coral promo code, even at this early stage.

Despite the poor mid-season form, Everton finished the season strong in 8th position. Gathering 54 points from the 38 games played. There were a number of players who starred for the side throughout the season. Here we cover three of them, in which the club will be doing their upmost throughout the summer to keep them at Everton.

Lucas Digne

#The 25 year old French International has been a revelation this season at left back, since his arrival from Spanish champions Barcelona. He made 35 appearances, with two via the bench, scoring four goals and assisting four. Digne has been key in the back line that has kept 12 clean sheets this season, which has seen him quickly become one of the key players for the side. For many he was the player of the season and it will be very important to keep him at the club as Everton look to push into European football following next season.

Gylfi Sigurdsson

The 29 year old Icelandic international has been a real star for the side since his move over from Swansea. He has been key to the success of the side throughout the season, which also saw him finish as the joint top scorer. He made 38 appearances with two of them coming via substitution. Gylfi scored 13 Premier league goals, which meant a goals per match ratio of 0.34 over the campaign. He is going to be a very important member of the side next season and Everton will be hoping for a similar performance again from him.

The 22 year old Brazilian international is one of the most exciting young players in World football at present and a very important member of the Everton squad. Big things were expected of him following his big money move from Watford and he has already quickly become a key member for the team. He is another player who Everton will be doing their upmost to keep at the club over the summer transfer window. Richarlison finished the season having made 35 appearances, with three of them via the bench. He scored 13 goals meaning he finished as the joint top scorer with the previously mentioned Gylfi Sigurdsson.
