Everton have – finally – announced the list of fixtures that Marco Silva and his men will use to prepare for the forthcoming Premier League season, but there is one key fixture missing.
There are no home pre-season games included in the summer preparations, which is often played as the last pre-season game of the summer, but that – unless Goodison gets a midweek game – will be played away at Werder Bremen.
There is a “European friendly tournament” talked about by the club – thought to be the 2019 edition of the Algarve Cup – but the closest we get to a home tie is an away game at Wigan on July 24th.
It is entirely possible that there will be more games announced once the club become more confident that a new kit will be available in time, but what do you make of it so far?
