Everton have apparently started negotiations with Barcelona over bringing Andre Gomes to Goodison Park on a permanent basis.
According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Everton have started the process of bringing the Portuguese midfielder to Merseyside on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell.
Gomes spent last season at Everton and has impressed fans and pundits alike, with rumours circulating earlier in the season that he was attracting attention from other Premier League clubs.
However, work has begun on making Gomes the first outfield signing of the summer, adding to Marco Silva’s squad for next term.
