Reports are circulating that Everton beat Arsenal to the signature of Moise Kean from Juventus after assuring him of first team experience at Goodison Park, but are the Blues about to steal another Arsenal target?
Arsenal apparently made a last-minute bid to hijack Everton’s signing of Kean – who is expected to complete his medical with the Blues today – and now it seems that the pursuit of Jean-Phillipe Gbamin could put Arsenal’s noses out of joint too.
Gbamin (the B is silent, for those wondering) was linked with a move to The Emirates late in last season when it was claimed he would be the answer to all The Gunners’ woes.
Now though, it seems Everton have sealed a deal with Mainz to sign the Ivorian for around £27m with SportsWitness claiming that both parties are keen to get a deal across the line.
With Everton looking to make a push into the top six at least this season, could it be Arsenal that make way for them?
