Everton face competition from both Arsenal and Barcelona for the signing of Juventus’ teenage striking sensation Moise Kean, according to reports.
The Blues have been linked with an interest in the 19 year old Italian striker, but Arsenal and Barcelona are now both apparently expressing an interest.
It’s not an automatic bit of bad news, though, as the report in the Metro also claims that Arsenal have prioritise other signings ahead of Kean, while Barcelona want to sign him in order to loan him out immediately to Sevilla.
At Everton, he would likely be promised guaranteed first team football as he would represent a huge investment in an area that the Blues are seriously lacking in.
A starting role in a Premier League side aiming for big things might be tempting enough, but Everton will also need to match Juventus’ valuation for Kean, and no deal has yet been reached.
