NSNO has been told that Everton striker Cenk Tosun could be on his way to Bundesliga side Schalke before the end of the transfer window and that a bid is expected soon.
The German side, who have already taken Jonjoe Kenny on loan for the season, have been keen on signing Tosun for some time, and it is believed that a bid is expected within the next week.
Tosun signed under Sam Allardyce but has failed to live up to the price paid to Besiktas for his services.
It has been reported throughout this week that any signings of a new striker are based on selling Tosun, so Everton will want to ensure that they recoup a large proportion of the fee paid in January last year.
A number of strikers have been linked, but Marcel Brands and Marco Silva have a set of criteria that must be met, which includes fee and wage demands, before bringing anyone in.
