Everton forward Richarlison says that he is delighted to be “home” after a summer of trophies with his national side.
The Brazilian forward – who signed from Watford last summer – scored the decisive goal that clinched the Copa America for his country this summer after breaking into the national side for the first time shortly after signing for the Blues.
Having teamed up again with former manager Marco Silva at Everton, Richarlison says that Everton is his football home, and that he wants to get down to the business of winning trophies with the Blues.
“I was really missing training and my teammates and very keen to get back on the pitch playing again,” Richarlison told evertontv.
“It is my second home here at Everton, my football home.
“I am really happy to be here and I hope to contribute throughout the season for my club.
“Winning the Copa America was a massive achievement and a big moment in my career.
“It was important to win my first trophy and also for Brazil to have that success.
“I want to continue developing and getting better and to win things for my national team and club.”
