Doucoure?

Well, Doucoure and (my hope) Holgate. Bring Seamus back on at RB, our defending ability goes up quite a bit that way IMO. Also keeps open the option to bring on Davies for Coleman as the 1st sub. Holgate moves back to LB, and Davies adds fresh legs for the final 20-25' I figure.

Hope Ole has earmarked this one down as an opportunity for the most vigorous of squad rotations.

As for us, we need to go full strength to have a chance.

* as full-strength as possible given we're missing at least Digne & Allan.

It won't be easy BUT part of me has convinced myself Ole will give some 2nd-teamers a shot after demolishing Leeds.

                               Olsen

                  Keane  Mina Godfrey
                             Holgate
                    Doucoure   Siggy

           Iwobi         James          Richy

                                 DCL

Holgate DM but can revert to fourth CB as needed.
James in the middle will be more effective than out wide.

They were resting players in the previous rounds, I'd fancy us against the team they put out in the last round against Brighton at a canter. But I think Ole will want this now and wouldn't be surprised to see them at full strength.

Be a close one but hopefully the 2000 fans will get us over the line.

They have too much incisiveness going forward for me to be confident that we can keep it tight and compact like we have done recently. (Think what arsenal were like down our left wing, except all over the pitch).

I think the only way to beat these is by putting two in the net in the first half hour and destroying the fragile confidence they have.

We're not doing that without Richarlison, DCL and James on the pitch.

I don't want to win a trophy for the first time I can remember without any fans, and without me being able to celebrate with a load of blues.

Give me three points on boxing day over a win here.

I agree with the sentiment (and looking at the other teams left, it's probably a moot point).

But 6th and the first cup in 25 years for a club would utterly cement Ancelotti as still having "it" and would make it easier to attract players that would have previously laughed a "play on the CL with us next year" line.

Yeah, from a football stand point a trophy and Europe would be massive.

From a fan that wants to get out on the ale stand point I'd be happy to wait.

Could you imagine what Goodison would be like with a full house here. Just makes me sad that we're missing out on all that.

They've improved out of sight recently but things can change quickly, we've already proven that this season.

You've got to respect them but personally I don't fear this fixture.

We're travelling well enough along our own road to recovery and are definitely a good winning chance.

Should be a top game.

Even though they are frightening going forward Leeds still created 5/6 good chances yesterday if we keep it tight at the back and play deep we can hurt them on the counter attack
