Really think they will rotate heavily and  I think we will make 2 or 3 changes too

I am unsure now whether I'd rather have a win here or a win on Boxing day, agree with @TheRam sentiment about it not being as special without the fans and this is also usually City's cup anyway

I just want to get through the tie unscathed and fresh for Boxing day

They aren’t that great defensively and given James can’t play both I think he’s more important vs Sheffield United as they’re going to sit deep and let us have the ball.

They’re going to rotate I think, although that means a ‘downgrade’ to a midfield trio of Pogba, Van de Beek and Matic so still a very good three

The Blue 3/4 of Liverpool

Could do with playing our best team and try and get into the semi final. Would prefer to push for a trophy than risk saving a ham-string.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I thought Davies did ok with the ball on Saturday but against a side with no creativity in the middle of the park. I think we should go with Holgate in the middle to counter Bruno Fernandes, otherwise I see him picking up pockets all over the shop.

Why no Keane?

Just thought he’s played more than Mina, time for a rest

With Uniteds pace up front would definitely keep Holgate and Godfrey in

If we want to be down 0-2 at the half, this looks like the team to do it. 😘

Think Carlo is resting at least 1 or 2 here as he said he would during this run.

I'm guessing one of DCL or Richarlison, might see a CM rested as well depending on who is available.

My guess is the setup is similar to the last 3 games though. No need to give Rashford and Martial space in behind, just have to track their runners from midfield well and we will be solid.

Think if we gave Godfrey a man on man job to follow Bruno and don't let him drop into pockets he'd do it well.

Nkounkou to take his place on the left.

Would love to win this one, but there's plenty of other good teams in it, even if we beat Utd, so we're a long way from the trophy still.

I'm seeing this one as a bit of a free hit, and not stressing too much about it. Utd are dangerous and in good form, and we're probably a bit knackered after a run of hard working wins, so if they have too much for us on the day, so be it.
