Fuck.

James, Richarlison, Allan and Digne. Our 4 best players all injured.

Are we getting to the stage now where James has missed as many games as he's played in.
Yeah he seems delicate.

Although, this'll be his 5th game in a row out injured it's all within 2 weeks with the fixture congestion.

No I'm a little bit worried now Richarlison is out as well. I mean, I won't let it put me off my mince pies and Birra Moretti, but our goal threat from open play looks poop now.

We need Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Coleman or Bernard to step up and be the main creator for DCL. I'm not filled with confidence.

These might be shite but with 4 of our best players out this has Everton loss written all over it. Pray for Richy not to fail the concussion test.

I’m concerned.

Sometimes the law of averages comes into play in football and there’s nothing you can do about it.

These really aren’t as bad as the leagues suggests, we’re going there with all out best players injured, off the back of a very lethargic performance.

Other than Doucoure there’s no improvement on last seasons team and we all know how bad they can be, especially without richy and Digne.

A win tomorrow would be another big step in changing the mentality of the team. Get three points, throw the kids out for City and we’ll still be in a very good position.

I do fear the worst though.

I'd love Ancelloti to pull some random new formation out of his arse that means we can still beat these even with all our attacking talent either injured or on their arse!

Did you see how tired we were against Utd? If this was a normal game with a week’s rest, it wouldn’t be an issue.

I still think we can get a win here, but let’s not lose our minds if we don’t, hey lads?

3 fixtures in 6 days is very harsh especially considering how we looked against utd and our injuries.

They might be crap but we look knackered and we can't really rotate or rest given the injuries.

A draw would be a decent result given the circumstances

If we can get through the next 3 games with a few points we'll be looking good for Europe

Almost certain to be
Pickford
Coleman Mina Keane Godfrey
Doucoure Gomes
Iwobi Sig Bernard
      DCL

Think he'll play Coleman to give us a bit more going forward than Holgate and Gomes because he brings a better range of passing than Davies.

Ancelotti obviously prefers Bernard to Gordon so can't see anything but Bernard replacing Richy.

That team should still be enough to win but it will be tough coming off the back of 5 games in 2 weeks and a lack of creativity in the team without James and missing Richy's directness.

Massive game, 3pts wise and we have seem how fragile our confidence is , but we look knackered and these do have spirit , looked pretty decent in some games but tactically(defensive) inept this season,  set pieces will be important, can;t see out working them

if we lose this can see us going on another 4/5 wineless streak until the Fa cup game.

when we lose all the energy seems to evaporate, win this and we may just get something from City, Lose and we will be hammered

would not have Gomes in his current state any where near the starting 11,  if Coleman plays , Play Holgate next to Doucoure or Davies,   and i trust Gordon to put in a better shift than Bernard,

I’d absolutely love to see Gordon here but doubt it.
