If not then same tactics, they have enough attacking talent but keep it compact and frustrate.

A loss wouldn't upset me because on their day they are still a top team but what a statement a win would be here.

There could be something in this for us if we go with the 4 CB low block approach.

We can definitely sting them on set plays and counterattacks.

With that said, it's a big ask to keep them from scoring given how fucked our first choice players are at this point.

I think this is a freebie. Get anything out of it is a bonus and we've done well to give ourselves some leeway.

This is a free hit. Theres 2 teams in the league you dont expect to get anything from because of the level of their squad. One of them is that shower of shit over there, the other is City.

A draw would be brilliant, a win and we're on cloud nine. A defeat is most likely but that wouldn't knock our confidence.

It's still a big ask but this isn't the City of a few years ago, if we play to our strengths we should push them hard. Only concern is with Pickford as they have the ability to strike from distance

Id rest as many as we can but that isn't a lot with our squad.

I'm with you on this tbh, as dirty as it makes me feel I just don't give a shit about this game and would happily field a weak team so players can have a rest.

The idea of DCL etc running themselves in to the ground again when likely we'll get beat anyway just seems futile.

Think we can get something from this with the same approach as the other big games recently.

City are a lot flatter than they were a couple of seasons ago.

Wouldn't be shocked to see us win or draw this, if we execute the gameplan well and get the first goal.
