What is the "rules" if that's the right word for wearing or not wearing away kits,

Everton played in blue last night, and whilst I'd prefer Everton in blue for every game I was just wondering what the regulations are.

Always assumed we wear blue unless the home team wear blue or what is deemed as a colour clash, then we were the away shirt

Pretty sure it's as simple as home team picks their kit, away team picks their kit that clashes the least.

Anyone remember when we had to wear Luton's away kit at their place cos we'd left ours at Bellfield

J-Södra, my team in Sweden often wore their third kit a couple of seasons. This was due to one of the players being colour blind.

Everytime an away match lineup announcement is made, I cross my fingers that we'll be in yellow or mint green lol.

I'm not sure officials choose as such; they just have the power to veto a kit if it is too similar to what the home team wears.
