Wonder how many Villa players had/ have it,  got to be approaching 10 day period by now.
Rest or no rest doesn't seem to apply to us ,
We looked better against Wolves , than we did v West ham .
If City played against Chelsea only a few days later then you think Villa should be clear by now.

Think every team at some point will have games postponed if it carries on like it has.

If this doesn't go ahead then we've got a fairly big rest ahead of Sheff wed next weekend and league wise Leicester isn't until the 27th. Hoping we will have Allan back by then to cover up Doucoures absence, who I assume misses the next league game?

Villa saying they aren't allowed back into their training ground til Saturday so I'm assuming it will get called off

Well according to Scott Parker, some of their players were only back the day before playing Spurs, so there doesn't seem to be any real hard and fast rules in place. City cam call a game off a couple of hours before kick off but Fulham are just told to play a big game away from home with very little prep time.

Btw lads - the infamous “rest” before the West Ham game wasn’t really was it?  It was only 6 days, off the back of playing something ridiculous like 7 games in 15 days. And having a game called off at 2 hrs notice isn’t the same as having a planned clear week. We’d have planned for that City game, worked on things and had match level intensity training. If we’d known we were having those extra days, the training would’ve been very different.

The more call offs the more games will have to be squeezed in at the end of the season, presumably leading to more risk of infection.
