Thats why it will be interesting cos he wont be able to bully his way through that league, he will need a different skill set
Yes, that was my original point though not well articulated. I think Unsworth said a similar thing when Simms first joined the U23s. Simms hasn't played in his peer group for quite some time.

8 goals in his last 12 games isn't a bad return for a striker. Now the question remains whether he has added work rate to his game.

I've never seen him play. You would think that physical attributes would be more of benefit around the age of 14-16. After that, people catch up. Plus being big and strong doesn't make you shoot better.
Only went up to the under 23s this season didn't he? I'd say for his age he's probably progressing well and definitely shouldn't be written off by anyone.Let's hope he does well in League 1 and can look to progress to a loan in the Championship next season
