To be honest I think Carlo knows there’s a great keeper hidden in Pickford, so is trying to keep supporting him in the hope it comes back. Whilst also hedging his bets that it won’t and making the transition to a new keeper less messy.

I usually get the train or the bus but I just walked out like a zombie and floated home in a haze of absolute “what did I just witness”.

Madness. That’s when I realised pickford needed to get binned. His antics in the box for those two minutes created a panic right around the ground and you just knew what was about to come.

I’m pretty sure they brought a centre half on at 80 minutes to try and keep it at 2-0 as we were all over them and he ended up scoring the equaliser.
