What we saying then lads and lasses?

Cheeky FA Cup run to the latter stages?

Chance to go deep (as the actress said to the bishop).

Honestly think we'll lose.

Just don't fancy us in the cups. Maybe Carlo can change that but feel we will need some rotation  here and again against Fulham.

Might see James and one of Richy/DCL on the bench to start.

They are quite bad this year. Their fans want mourinho sacked so they can move on. Attacking play entirely relying on getting the ball to Kane and Son and letting them magic something.

One point behind us in our best season in donkeys years.

I think we really should fancy this as a good opportunity to win a big game..

0-2

Kane, Son

Or alternatively, alli to play his first game in a million years, beat the dust off us and be dropped again at the weekend.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I think Spurs will have too much for us and can see them winning relatively comfortably

It sounds like a lot of you haven't watched Spurs recently.

They did alright at the weekend against a dogshit WBA, but they've been pretty poor for a while.

My Spurs mates are both convinced we'll win this.

I fancy it. My only cause for a bit of nervousness is our home record.

We tend to struggle against teams with cagey, negative approaches.

I expect this will be no different.

This is a game to be brave, start Mina and Godfrey, step higher up the pitch, and try to pin them back. We have the quality to get the goals and their defense is not particularly strong.

If it's Mina and Keane, I worry that we'll get stuck in our own half for long stretches and I don't feel good about inviting Kane, Son, and maybe Bergwijn onto us. There's too much quality in that group to repel for an entire match.

Points taken, and it might be two teams trying to let the other have possession, but I really don't fear Spurs at all. They're in the Mourinho death spiral early, without much upside.

Of course they have individuals who can hurt you and win a game (Kane, Son and Ndombele) but as a side, I really think they're vulnerable and can be got at. Their defence is average at best.

I'm wary about stepping up too much with Son's pace in behind, and with Kane and Ndombele who can both find him.

I worry that sitting back leads to Harry Kane banging in a random 20-30 yarder and Son terrorizing us on the break anyway as we chase the game.

I'd rather step on their necks while they're not playing well. Get an early goal and their task suddenly becomes very difficult given the lack of cohesion in possession.
