I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Tough one.

Don't buy for one second at all the whole "these are shite" vibes as they really aren't.

They have under performed this season by their standards but that's different.

They still have plenty of individual quality to hurt us.

Think we can edge it but not confident, be great if we could.

Need to go full strength from the start, hopefully after 60/70 minutes we can take James and DCL off and reintroduce Allan, if he's on the bench, to give him some minutes before the biggies next week.

Coleman Mina Godfrey Digne
                Davies
    Doucoure    Gomes/Iwobe

As other posters have said, would rather prioritise the league - would be great to go far in the cup but without any fans it just doesn't have the same merit. Don't know if I'd be wanting to risk injuries to some of our key players.

Be great to win a cup in the future with the fans in the ground but think it's more important to lay the ground work in the league.

Yea think we took James off as a precaution but doubt we will risk anyone given that we have another 3 games in a week after this.

Hope he's back for Fulham or at least for City.

4-1 to us. Amakachi with two...

I think we'll win by the odd goal. They are not what they were and seem to have regressed under Jose.

If they come out and play a low block it could be a long night. Our last home win in the league feels like a long time ago

Spurs have league form and a League Cup Final to concentrate on

They are there for the taking - quarter finals here we come

And BenG to open his Goodison goalscoring account, with Allan on the bench...

Last home win in the league was 19th December, when we beat Arsenal.

Mourinho wants to win cups to maintain his legacy of always winning something, so he'll take this very seriously. Besides, the league cup final is 2 months away, so I doubt that'll come into their thinking in terms of this game.

I think they have the advantage coming into it, because like in the league cup game versus Man United, their bench is much deeper than ours and these games can often be attritional.

We'll need some big performances to win this.

A lot seem to be saying 'let's prioritise the league' or 'I'd rather do well in the league'. Understood, but I don't think we need to choose between the two.

Win tomorrow and we're in the quarters, and 3 games away from a trophy. Ok City are still in there, but you can't worry about that. Just see what the draw brings and deal with it.

I'd personally still rather win the FA Cup to be honest with you. Gets us into Europe anyway doesn't it and gives us the glory of actually winning something

But like you say its not as if its a massive burden on us given how many games it would take to win so why not go as full strength as possible in both. Wouldnt be resting anyone tomorrow apart from the injured
