I'd personally still rather win the FA Cup to be honest with you. Gets us into Europe anyway doesn't it and gives us the glory of actually winning something

But like you say its not as if its a massive burden on us given how many games it would take to win so why not go as full strength as possible in both. Wouldnt be resting anyone tomorrow apart from the injured

8.15 kickoff is annoying, the constant tiredness of having a two year old whilst working from home combined with moving to Belgium so it’s now a 9.15 kickoff means I’ll probably fall asleep before this is over.

A lot seem to be saying 'let's prioritise the league' or 'I'd rather do well in the league'. Understood, but I don't think we need to choose between the two.

Win tomorrow and we're in the quarters, and 3 games away from a trophy. Ok City are still in there, but you can't worry about that. Just see what the draw brings and deal with it.

Don’t disagree that it would be nice, even preferable but I still think that with our lean squad and fairly fragile key players, we should prioritise the league.

We've finished 2nd/3rd in the league a few times but no one really remembers or gives a shit about them, how ever hard they were to achieve. Our FA cup wins, particularly 66,84 and 95, need no reminder at all and I'd take a cup win over 5th/6th any day - probably even over CL qualification now.

Hate the spurs at home fixture.....never bodes well for me since about 1974....we had a league cup replay rescheduled to a Wednesday afternoon(can’t remember why for the life of me) anyway me dad stayed off work and I stayed of school to go ... me dad was in his new car only had it 2 days and a bloody doctor pulled out of a side street down upper parliament street and wrote his car off...we never made the game...we lost 0-1....and I’ve hated the fixture ever since.....I know we don’t....but it feels like we always lose or summit bad always happens....one of those teams I dislike....

I might have the wrong match but I remember Gibson coming on in this one and spraying the ball over the place to turn it in our favor.

When he was fit and in form, it was like playing on a pitch twice as wide.

Shame about his personal issues and inability to stay fit.

Edit: I know there aren’t a lot of them kicking around but I miss having a deeper midfielder who can spray long balls around for fun like Gibson or Barry. Would really suit our current wingers/forwards.

Yeah it was that last one.

Beat them the two previous seasons to that with one of Jelavic’s one touch finishes from a pull back that he scored when he first came.

Only beaten them 5 times at home since the PL started. Which is pretty woeful considering always been there or thereabouts in comparison to them, bar a couple of seasons.
