City, United, Leicester and Chelsea are defo finishing above us.

Then, if we're honest, Spurs and Liverpool are almost certainly finishing above us. Spurs have clicked and their front three is genuinely elite. Liverpool will start picking up wins, as annoying as that is. And then you'd expect West Ham to finish above us, because they look like a proper side with balance.

So what's that....8th.

I'd not entirely rule out Arsenal either, they have a pretty easy run in and unlike us specialise in being flat track bullies.

However, yes, in this form we're probably looking at somewhere between 7th and 9th.

We’ve been beaten and at times outplayed by the likes of Leeds, West Ham, Newcastle, Fulham, and now Burnley - all at home

Europe? Doubtful

Carlo himself has said the race will go down to the last day, and we're away at City...

We've fucked it up with our pathetic performances at home and will fall short, 8th or 9th.

We are gonna fluke our way to 9th or 10th at best. Then when the luck runs out we'll have to spend big in the summer to repeat that wonderful achievement. Our football is absolutely dire. Read a stat that we'd had less shots for games in a row. Seems so outlandish it can't be right can it? Feels like allardyce without even his set basic way to play but with loads of luck. Rotten team playing rotten football.

Geriatric manager who explodes pretty much every club he manages but he gets his mutts running around a million miles per hour and they don’t actually win many games but we like the way he crouched down on the sidelines and trolls the press with PowerPoint presentations. “Bielsa”

I don't think we're ready for European football tbh. We have a weak squad and need to be realistic in our current expectations.... It's embarrassing enough getting beat by Burnley, so getting knocked out by some Ukrainian B side would be crushing. The downside is keeping our best players who see European football as their goal.

I think making Europe is important for us. We need some sort of achievement to hang on to. Also there will be another transfer window before any European competition begins so we do have the chance to improve the squad.
Everton; we'd like to win as long as we don't upset anyone in doing so.

proper grim on here after a loss

18 games in a row we've conceded more shots than we've had. It's grim watching us play.

It's more the way we lose and to who that makes it grim for me... even playing well and losing feels better.
