Some amazing comments above - Very funny. Can't really add anything to the sarcastic pessimistic optimism that I am reading, but as we have been let down against this sort of side so many times this season, it's not really surprising!

He's a shambles.

Wouldn't even celebrate scoring against him. Alex McCarthy, the little slug

Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

Fucking hate playing teams that haven't won in about three years.

We'd better win tonight, because I've chosen to base all my happiness and self-esteem for the rest of the week on this result.

These weekday matches are not good for my concentration levels during work.

I'm just hanging out for a fixture that massively boosts our goal difference. I feel like we're due one under Carlo.

Im confident, but its still a potential banana skin.

Weve still got the fundamental issue of being much better when we surrender possession, and play on the counter. Really not sure how well approach this one.

Ive used it to death but theres a stat knocking about that of the 6 games where weve had 60% or more possession, weve lost 5 of them.

Im hoping Allan is a gamer-changer and stops us being so susceptible to teams with loads of energy.

The problem with Southampton is that they are a decent side who are capable of upsetting anyone, and you never really know which version will turn up. A little bit like us, but worse.

As much as we have improved this season, it's been gut-wrenching to watch us lose against Southampton/Newcastle/Fulham/West Ham (to a lesser extent). This club make you feel like a million dollars, and then make you watch as they burn it all in a firepit.

Please Everton. Just win. Any win will do. An arsecheek. A fluke. It doesn't matter.
