Yes, well done!

Inch High Private Eye - a Hanna-Barbera cartoon based on the 1960s US comedy series Get Smart!

The pub I am referring to was once owned/managed by ex-Everton player Gary Jones (mind you, knowing Psycho, there may have been more than one he could have been found in!)

So, what's the link with inchy and the private eye then? Unless he's got a small private eye... is it a euphemism?

The cartoon character was called inch high. Adrian Heath is 5ft 6 so thatís why he was compared to the miniature P.I.

Pat Van Den Hauwe would sometimes not turn up for training. Which pub was he often found in?

Saw him in the Netley when I was about 8 or 9 after a game. Me dad wanted to take me up to say hello but I was too shy.

There's more to that story, but it's more of a face-to-face sort of deal.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

The (Uncle)Albert in Lark Lane, Sefton Park/Aigburth Road

You are also right, though! Black George's in Toxteth, run by the Ungi (gangster)family, was another pub frequented by Pat!

To us fans he was known as Pycho, but what nickname did the players give him?
