Surprised at a few names there, most notably Les Ferdinand. No Wayne Rooney.

And no TH either.
Security is mostly a superstition. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Being Irish, he had an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustained him through temporary periods of joy.

23 nominees and only 2, Le Tissier and Les Ferdinand, not played for Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea and them.

Pretty surprised thereís no Kompany, Zola, or Ginola, you could also make a case for Di Canio and Juninho.

If it is going to be based on the NFL Hall of Fame model - players and/or coaches have to be retired at least 5 years before they are considered for voting to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

A year retired, hence Rooney's omission.

Not really into Hall of Fame's and all that. Feel like a further Americanisation of the sport. No offence to our loyal American fans, but our sporting culture is different, and it's fine to preserve that.

A surprise it's not been more of a thing in England because we bloody love living in the past.
