Anyone got any suggestions for places to have a pint and watch the game?

Town, south end, north end, don't mind.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Punch Tarmeys in the Baltic was good last time we were allowed a pint inside.

Massive boost if Douc is back

West Ham have won their last 250 games, whereas we have won one of our last 250 so seems an obvious defeat sadly

Yeah weather looks shocking. Not a time to be out in the beer garden.

I like what people are putting for the midfield. With Allan and Davies we have 2 other midfielders who will be busy around Doucoure so he doesn't have to do ALL the heavy lifting on his first game back from injury.

Call me a prick if you want to (again) but I think with that much hustle and bustle in the middle, this is exactly the game to play Sigurdsson. I'd play him in an advanced role, where his best performances have been, just behind the front two.

Eurgh. I feel a bit dirty after writing that.

I get the hate for Sigurdsson but he's been twice the player Iwobi has this season.

He has but Sigurdsson has been garbage out of position in central midfield like he has led legs but effective as a number 10. I think Iwobi deserves a run at left forward, his favourite position and it allows him to cut inside with Digne bombing on. He is young and deserves a chance to build his confidence in his favourite position before the end of the season I think.

Go with this myself but I get the feeling Carlo will put Sig in over Iwobi.

I know. Iwobi had his best game for us against West Ham at Goodison I think last season. Him and Bernard buzzing behind DCL. Hopefully he gets the chance to do this again with Richarlson

That "percentile sprint speed" article in The Athletic this week was eye-opening.  Coleman's race is run (we just have no other option), only Godfrey and Holgate (barely wrt the latter) have the sprint speed to play centre half in a modern setup.

I am fearful we are rushing Doucoure back, because the season's over unless we win here.  That (understandable) "chips to the middle" move never works out for us.

Please buy nobody over 25 in the summer.  Or maybe ever again.
