Interesting article.  A lot of Everton Supporters clubs(local level) seem to be around as well as Everton USA.  Tim Howard bought a lot of attention to Everton.

However the reality of last season, with many shit displays at seasons end would probably turn a lot of casual US fans off supporting Everton.  Results on the pitch determine the level of interest off the pitch unfortunately.  Some of last seasons performances were the worst in my living memory and I donít recall one of the nationally televised games on NBC free to air being exciting.  We need exciting attacking football played in front of a passionate crowd.  The empty stadiums and fake crowd noise on the TV probably did not help the ratings either.

Yeah but since Times Square and Miami - what have we done? Really thought that was going to be the catalyst for more engagement pieces, albeit smaller ones. It's like we had the big launch, the big announcement, the crowd was quiet for a heartbeat and held its breath.....  but the band didn't come out and play.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

You really did.

Next thing you'll tell me you don't like Bon Jovi or Naughty By Nature.

I did live in Myrtle Beach SC for nearly two years around 2002-2004, hence my reference to Crabby Mike's on another (fish!)thread - which probably also went "whoosh"!

Yeah, I was messing with you lol. Those are probably the 3 most well-known NJ music celebs. Well, not counting Sinatra of course.

I didnít pick you as a Bon Jovi fanboy lol

Not music, but I like Bruce Willis. When I first came over and was going to Salem CC in Carneys Point, used to go into this little store for sandwiches and wotnot. They had signed posters up of him all over. I eventually asked why and they said he comes from Carneys and this was his local store too. Always assumed he was north Jersey.

I asked if they wanted some signed posters of me, they said no.

There were rumors he was buying up property in the town too but no clue if that was true or not.
