What a game. Should no better than to runs around a sports bar screaming after Lukaku scored.

Mirallis is a lucky boy and I doubt we get back into it if he got sent off. We played so well and missed sitter after sitter as did they. Should of finished 10-8 by my estimations.

Suarez is a genius of a footballer and to have the energy he did his World Cup exploits shows some brilliant fitness.

Quote of the day comes from the bbc live text when they say that Suarez looked like he was attacked by a small vampire after Mirallis tackle

Decent first match to attend :) felt a bit robbed and our defending fron set pieces was abysmal but not sure I could ask for much more for my first match at Goodison Park.

Aside from the last minute equaliser it would have pretty much been an un-matched experience.

Not often we come from behind against them - no idea when we last won 3-2 either!

The Analog Kid

Just watched it then, I Sky plussed it as I have been in Ludlow all day. They've never heard of 3G, 4G or Stevie fuckin' G in that town, could not get a signal at all to follow the game. Ross Barkley is completely fearless, Mirallas could be finding his form again, Lukaku was a pain in the arse to them. Gerrard is finished and Joe Allen is shite.

Off to watch the boxing now, picked up 6 pheasants for a tenner at the Christmas market today so I'm gonna reef me way through  a couple of the fuckers with some real ales.

COYBB,

Tally ho!

What a cunt Brendan is. He didn't have anything to say about Suarez stamp on Mirallas' achilles last season. Dalglish level hypocrisy. Someone needs to tell him that he didn't invent possession football and that he sounds like a snake-oil selling PR guru. Prick

. It's as simple as that

Oh thanks for clarifying that for me. I now know that when bringing on a central defender it is irrelevant which player is sacrificed and that the impact upon team shape and their ability to execute the game plan is non-existent. 3-5-2, 5-5-0, 3-0-7, what's the difference? They all have three centre-backs! It is just that simple!

I think we should agree to disagree because you haven't acknowledged my point that discussion about how many centre backs there are makes no sense without reference to the positions of the seven other outfield players. We're talking past each other.

Picked a great debut game pal. Hope you enjoyed the overall experience despite the slightly disappointing result.

Not sure about 3-2, but the last time we came from behind to win was 1992, Mo Johnson and Peter Beardsley. Seems like only yesterday.  :snigger:

Anyways, Retro Shirt at the bar announces that 50 years ago this week You'll Never Walk Alone was number one. Mate says and you soft gets are still singing it. RS asks why not as Gerry Marsden wrote it for them. Cue silence & bemused glances & he's advised Gerry lifted it from South Pacific. He's not having it & hits us with a low blow: Z Cars was shite.

Rum chasers all round. We'll twat them in January.
