That also means Rangers only need seven points to win the title, which providing Rangers and Celtic both win their next two games means Rangers could win the title at Parkhead.

Would this be the earliest, a team has won the league?

There's various ways of measuring it, either by date or games remaining etc.

It is beyond any form of footballing logic that Lennon still has a job. A National League club would have sacked its manager with this level of performance. If the CEO hasn't the balls then you'd at least think Lennon would have the self-respect (and self-awareness) to fall on his sword. He's not exactly building enhancing his legacy.
Being Irish, he had an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustained him through temporary periods of joy.

Think Covid has seen decreases in revenues and owners donít want to be paying out contracts and then paying new wages on top of that.

He's on a 12 month rolling contract so they might as well stutter through until the end of the season then see who's available. Other than an interim it would be difficult to attract anyone decent (by Celtic standards) to the job given the mess they're in.

Having said all that, various reports Lennon's to leave and John Kennedy to take interim charge.

First time any opponent has been able to put any realistic pressure on him he's caved.
Everton; we'd like to win as long as we don't upset anyone in doing so.
