Kids today have no idea what they're missing. A bit of international table tennis and then over to WoS to watch Mick MacManus give it the Irish whip. Culture.

Loved Peter Jones and Bryon Butler on the radio, Denis Law used to be the expert pundit

Remember listening to the 1984 Milk Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg away to Villa, at the final whistle, Jones said about the Everton fans celebration, "You'd think they'd just won the League Cup, you'd think they'd won the FA Cup, you'd think they'd won the European Cup and you'd think they'd won the World Cup"!

Emotional, one game I missed and wished I was there

Used to love it when they put the half time score boards out , the suspense when they laid the first board against the wall then waiting for the second one.

I've always wondered, why are they called STANDS when you can only SIT in them????
Been to an away game in recent years?!!!!
The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

........................I thought that too ; it's very likely we are at least having a conversation with Usmanov.
He didn't drop any hints about a planning application though.

Wonder if by funding, he means the deal with the council?
