You could say that the we have in some way too as Dom, Jon Joe and Lookman and Dowell (at the time) were part of the Under 20 World Cup winning team in 2017 with Dom scoring the winning goal.

And Goodison is still the only club ground in this country to host a World Cup semi final.

Probably gonna be a lot of hospitality folk rubbing their hands now, loads of bars down there that have been closed for years, few new bars opening by the Titanic hotel as well, gonna be amazing

You know what, fair play to everyone involved in getting this over the line. I had high hopes and low expectations and they've only gone and done it.

I suggest someONE of you go to the place with a shovel and make a groundbreaking ceremony.  And take a Video of it.  I would do that if I was not occupied taking care of a Volcano atm.

The large steps on the water side have been added since his original design but I think thatís about it, if memory serves.

It was pretty acrimonious for a while when his firm didnít win the build contract, but that seems to have died down recently. I think itís safe to say itís seen as his vision with the fans, which probably helps.

Wonderful, wonderful news. Everyone involved deserves huge credit, not just a new stadium but a new vision for the club. To deliver something so iconic, Moshiri is a God send for us. So far removed from the embarrassment that woud have been the Everton Tesco retail park flat pack stadium.

Going to be lot of grown men and women in tears at Goodison over the next few years though.
Being Irish, he had an abiding sense of tragedy, which sustained him through temporary periods of joy.
