I was 1000% sure we were going to replace Lukaku so I donít want to say Iím that confident like, but I do feel a CB, a CM and a forward will be coming in. Maybe different levels, maybe different stages of their development, maybe different fees - but I do feel very strongly they know what they need and need is not an understatement.

Would seem almost a certainty but for previous windows. Weíve all sat there in recent times watching us be linked with a 50m winger and having no forward only for nowt to happen. Logic and Everton just donít always go together do they

Different people at the helm. Let go of your hangups, until after deadline day.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see nothing big happen.

Not saying it as a bad thing, but I just don't see Brands as a panic buy type of guy. But we kinda do need a CB, so.....

With the team we have right now we'd probably finish 7-11. Go into next window with even less dead weight and add 2-3 quality players to the mix.

Can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit in one summer.

Of course. We do seem to be running out of links or worse still rojo for ridiculous money. Hard not to let the old doubts resurface. We shall see. Hoping for someone with potential to become a top player. If we need a stop gap it has to be cheap

Possibly but as long as it wasn't Keanu Reeves himself.

If it makes anyone feel better, my United fan mate thinks Rojo is a solid defender most of the time and a good left back.

He does have moments of being erratic though.

Is this judgment one of those moments?

Oh, you mean Rojo...

He is a very good defender, but he's a walking red card with a wandering concentration pulling him out of position.  Exactly like Funes Mori was.

A couple of days old this article but seems that City want rid of him.
