Saw DCL on the touchline and thought he was still waiting to come on...  :snigger:

Stop start second half. First half was great and I think we can take more heart from that.

But it took Valencia and us to beat us, so we need to focus on getting that defence shored up asap.

Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right.

Still not liking what I see at the back.

Going forward though we’re sound.

This will be a very good team in 18 months time when Silva has been allowed to get two centre halves and two midfielders.

Big defensive problems and only a week to fix them.

But at least we scored a couple of goals and made some chances.

Replacements for Morgan and Sigurdsson and brand new centre backs and we look great.

You all wanted Sigurdsson in the middle.

Don’t see your arse when he doesn’t perform in a friendly.

Silva pulling Sandro up to have a word at the end ?

Hopefully telling him to calm down.

Has absolutely no composure.

I agree and hope most evertonians see that this is a project not a quick fix and Silva is afforded some patience. Hopefully the style of attacking football will do that.

Thought Sandro was much worse than Davies. Calamitous little display from him.
