Everton had more shots on target in those 50 mins with 10 men than they managed in almost half of Sam Allardyce’s full games last season (40%).

Today was unfortunate but in years past we never could have recovered like we did.

Well done to the boys and def excited about our future prospects

I didn't see us holding on and as many have said on here, with better decision making, we would have won the game.

Did they have any shots after they equalised?

All the "experts" think we done wrong by Allardyce, that dick Townsend mentioned it again today.
I still despise Clive Thomas..

To use one his most favourite words - we are so much BETTER without him.

Not having that was an obvious sending off.

At worst it was one that you’d say that nearly every tackle in midfield would be a red card.

Just because he’s stretching following a mistake doesn’t mean it’s a red.

And you’d be hard pressed to make an argument over “intent” as he’s clearly stretching for the ball.

That Richarlison goal was proper Henry-esque, not getting carried away or anything but what a fantastic finish.

I thought we were very good today, with some better decision making in one or ttwo situations -even with 10 men- we could easily have won this game.

Baines and Coleman were superb, Keane looked composed at the back but jumped to early for the 2nd. Tosen did easier things a little poorly but worked hard and created opportunities, richarlison was superb. Bags, I love him but......
Pickford was poor first half.

With more gelling and new players to come in, we will entertain and push for things this season. Thank fuck after the last 18months!

The pundits hate us more or less on block, they'll be chocking if we have a good season.

I am a big Pickford fan but he was rusty today. Distribution was poor and that little step to the right for the free kick wasn’t great. Can only get better from here though
