Pleased for him today. The build up to the second goal and his passing in his own half just after we scored the third was superb

Great first half but I'm not sure he gets in ahead of Coleman in that formation does he, unless Coleman is used as one of the 3 defenders?

I'm his biggest critic, but today he was very good.
Played a big part in the 2nd goal and delivered some dangerous balls into the box and gave robinson a torid time in the 1st half.
He needs to do this now on a consistent level not one in five or six.

His crossing is underrated.

The run he made for the 2nd goal is what you want to see more from him. So difficult for defenders when he's going full pelt and you don't know whether he's going to go inside or outside

Bit of chicken and egg, there, mate.

I wouldnít take anything away from Iwobiís performance today.

Oh no, I agree he was very good today, helped he seemed confident to run and take on players and then play a good ball for a change, hopefully that continues!

If he plays like he did today he gives Carlo some really good options and probably deserves a place in the team, he just needs to be much more consistent

I think he would, but the issue is how often will we be playing that system?

Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

At the rate Seamus is getting injured, ballpark 80% of the time.

You're probably right and Coleman can play in a back 3 so it doesn't necessarily have to be either/or.

Nice to see Iwobi is a good option for the role, but yeah it's not like we play that formation very often, and it certainly isn't the position we bought him for.

If he can keep doing it then I'll back him all the way. The last year's experience makes me very sceptical though. This was in truth a championship side today. And on here I've been told he can only play left or number 10 so I'm very confused.

When I saw his name on the team sheet I honestly thought oh for fucks sake...

Then his start to the game was his usually self and I thought oh for fucks sake ........
His back pass to Pickford from 35 yards up in the air and I thought oh for fucks sake.....

Then to be fair he settled down and played quite well and I thought oh for fucks sake....But for different reasons which was nice........

Letís hope he continues in this position and vein and I can stop thinking oh for fucks sake.......

Well done Iwobi. Amazing what a bit of positivity can do for ones game. I'll expect more in future!
