Yeah it said yesterday that he'd subsequently had a negative test so was ok to play.  All sounds a bit weird.

I thought you still had to quarantine for 2 weeks if you had a positive test, I'm confused!?

Remaining hope!! You make it sound like we're 10 points off 7th. We're 5 points off 4th with a game in hand, must be the most negative fans on earth

Agreed, I hate the negativity in here, yes we’ve been let down in the past and we’ve also won loads in the past.  Nothing will change with a negative mindset.

He played for Nigeria yesterday, so maybe the covid diagnosis wasn't correct?

There was a second test (possibly third?) That came back negative.

Afcon gunna afcon.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

I think that's how they've been doing it with all the players.

Can remember something similar with Salah earlier in the season.

The twitter Internet rumour mill posted an article saying that the Nigerian FA had blamed their opponents for tampering with the results to give a positive to disrupt their build up to the game and that they would be doing a second one as they didn't believe it.

Lo and behold the second came back negative. All sounds a bit weird and I hope we do one as a club on his return (and all players who have been on international duty for that matter.)

To be fair, if you were Nigeria's opponents you'd probably want Iwobi playing. :)
