Quite like the look of NEC back on the shirts if it is to be our shirt sponsor...are they owned or in collaboration with Usmanov?

You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

USM shirt sponsor, Megafon on the sleeve

NEC are tied into megafon somehow. So that might be a combo.  si mentioned it to me when they announced the end of sportspesa. Thought he was Messing at the time but might be something in it.
I'm fat, but it's not my fault I have a genetic condition resulting in me retaining burgers.

NEC appear to have a commercial partnership with MegaFon, but that's as far as it goes - there's no ownership.

This feels like the annual tenuous link which snowballs on Twitter.

Isn't the kit being released tomorrow?

Sure that's what Patrick Boyland said on the TIFO podcast from the other day.
If you're not angry, you're not listening.

Yup. The filth are getting nearly 10 times our deal - which is still a record-breaking one for us. If that is not a clear indication of how far ahead other teams are then I don't know what is.

Also think that probably at least half of the PL would swap places with us as we are similarly ahead of them.

Imagine if it worked like this:

All the kit manufacturers, sponsors etc bid for their teams.
Whatever they bid, 10M for Everton - 8M for Norwich - 1Bn for Man City, all goes into one pot.
Everyone gets the same length of contract - say 3 years - and then they are all re-bid again
Distribution of the money works like the TV rights - based on league position.

Drawbacks:
Clubs would have less control

Benefits:
The difference between top and bottom earners would be less pronounced
Clubs would have the chance to put together a good run and earn more money than previously
It would be fairer in that it is now almost a 'performance-related pay'
More clubs would get more money - enabling them to use for academies, grass-roots, community projects etc. - so it would reach more people

Right - over to you lot to rip that idea apart   lolol

P.S. - please share any and all kit mock-ups in this thread - thanks :)

That's how it works in America.  But they don't have relegation.

Theesk (I know) has heard that we're replacing SportPesa with another more well known betting company. Surely fucking not, especially after with DBB said about getting companies a few months back.

Was going to post this exact thing. Makes for parity in the league as well as gives each team some financial stability.

Prob would never happen here.
Are we there yet?
