I'm not disagreeing that it would be best for him to stay here by the way. The quality of the coaching would be better. But he would still need consistent minutes off the bench, something like 20-30 mins per game

Indeed.

Developing our own youngsters would be the ideal.

But, I also agree, he has some rough edges, and I’m not sure our current set-up fancies him.

I'd say send him to an attacking, expansive team full of bottle and belief - someone like Rotherham - but I don't know how many of our team would get into theirs.
