Was thinking of not renewing but have now regained some enthusiasm for the game so probably will. Thing is what exactly are we renewing ? The new season is supposed to start on September 11th. But canít see it being anything other than behind closed doors. Even if in the unlikely event that supporters were allowed back in with strict social distancing how would that work if they had to leave two seats empty between each occupied seat, how do they decide who gets to keep their seat and who not ?
On top of that how do you control entrance and exit, half time, toilet use ? Really think we are renewing only to get another credit.

Plus what about the footy travel for coaches and trains? Folk like yourself who travel a long way - what is being done there? If they sell half the seats on trains they'll have to put on 3 times as many.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

Article in The Times today. PL meeting with health experts to discuss opening up the game to spectators in September with attendances limited to between 30% to 50% depending on ability to social distance (we would definitely be Max 30%) grounds to be opened three hours before kick off to allow phased entrance, face masks at all times, weekly ballot to decide which season ticket holders allowed (how the fuck is that going to work?) no catering and phased exit from the ground.
Welcome to the new reality !

Imagine being first in and last out after a goalless draw with Norwich

Would away fans be allowed?

Is that fair if we play (as usual) the Anfield Derby first with no away fans, but then in March they fill their away allocation because restrictions have been eased?

If its a weekly ballot, do the people who were able to attend one week also get a chance to attend the following week?

What if two people sit together and travel together but only one drives? They cant both attend so the non driver misses out.

Do we have to sit down? Wouldn't it be safer to stand as we would touch less surfaces?

Who polices the face masks? Is it masks or coverings?

How do the toilets work? Currently toilets should be sanitised after every use. How do you do that with 10,000 people using them?

What a terrible, terrible way to do it.

Behind closed doors until it is safe to fully open again.

And, financially at 30% it would cost more to staff/police/stewarding than there would be any income plus younwoukd not be allowed to put your ST on Stub hub if you were lucky in the ballot but couldnít attend, agree with you, keep behind closed doors untill safe but God knows when that might be.

I think the club need to make a statement regarding current ST holders not renewing for next season only. If I donít renew for next season I may, probably will, lose my seat, might even have to go on a waiting list. You wonít get your money back if you are lucky in the ballot but choose not to go.

The season Allardyce was our manager the only reason I renewed was for BMD

There's no chance I'm risking not being able to choose my seat there!!

I say we all have to nominate one person that has deeply wronged us in our lifetime and they have to go and watch that shite midfield for 90 minutes.
