Echo reporting he won't be back till 2021.

Poor lad.
I thought that was always the original expectation?

few weeks ago "Gbamin is doing his own individual programme to recover, and I think he will be ready around October-November," the Everton boss said.

so this must be a new set back,    sad for the lad ,    but looks like we are never going to see him, again

No need to rush Gbamin given his unfortunate injury circumstances.

I reckon Godfrey is, among other things, the Gbamin replacement.

Young, physical, and can play both CB and DM.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

We should just relax about Gbamin, it will take time to get him playing football again.

Consider him not a part of the squad at all so when he does return there is no pressure on his fitness or form.

This, lets consider him as a January window signing that will need a couple of weeks to get up to speed before shining .

I think it's just the Echo speculating in their round up of current injuries.

What an awfully dour leap to conclusion that was.

Nah it's like a more rugged, outdoors, fitness-focussed type, without so many of your fancy functions.
