Our mentality this year has changed so much that I expect us now to win matches like this, even if Allan and Richarlison are out.

Ancelotti knew what he was doing bringing in players with a winners mindset as it's transformed the rest of the team's mentality, to the point anyone coming in knows they absolutely have to put in a performance.

Every game that passes I get that little less nervous about the next one, it's a weird feeling!

That’s what I kinda expected. I just pray that Allan is fit for the derby. I think he’ll be instrumental for a decent result. If we have Gomes, Doucoure and James in the middle with Richarlison, DC”fucking”L, and say, Walcott against Brighton then we should be ok.
If we don’t have Allan for the derby it’s gonna be a long game. If both teams have won all their games and in good form normally it’s a proper shit game. Don’t think the RS will wanna play us either. Their defence will be hoping Dcl stops scoring but I can’t see it myself the lads on a roll!

I was far more nervous before the Palace game.

There's a calmness about us at the moment that's very impressive. It's going to take a miraculous effort from Brighton to prevent us taking all 3pts.

Obviously it would be incredible if we could keep marching on, and home v Brighton we should always be looking to win the game.

But they are a good side. Potter is a good manager and they've performed well so far. Our injuries do not help - no natural replacement for Allan is a huge worry, and potentially replacing Richarlison who is our most direct threat and penetrative dribbler, where we are not blessed in like for like (probably Gordon closest in style?).

But - scenarios like this will happen and we have to cope, the manager has to coach his side through it and the second string have to step up and adapt.

A win would be huge for me. A much bigger deal than a draw or loss.

Delph played 90 minutes on Wednesday night so can't see him starting.
